Joins different lines into a main one and permits selective filtering of traffic aimed at certain devices.
It must be used in installations that have more than 255 nodes.
It can divide the installation into different branches, which, if there was a lot of traffic or collisions of data in the BUS, this would only affect one particular branch and the rest would continue to communicate perfectly.
