Description

The magnetic detectors have two physically separate pieces. The smaller one has a magnet and the bigger one has an integrated circuit which can detect the presence or absence of the smaller piece.

They can be used for the following functions:

•	Anti-intruder security device that detects when a door or window is opened by third parties.
•	Air control devices for energy saving: on detecting that a window has been opened, it will (having been programmed) cut off the air conditioning or heating accordingly.

They are installed in zones close to door or window openings, so that the sensor detects the slightest movement.

•	The smaller piece is installed on the edge of the window which is closest to the window opening.
•	The bigger piece is installed on the window frame and with its detecting side facing the magnet (the smaller piece).
