Optical Detector

To detect fire in locations where the appearance of smoke is not usual.

•	KCtr connection.
•	• Supply: 12V DC (KCtr).
•	Consumption: 160µA. (standby) and 20mA (activated).
•	Mounted on the ceiling.

Description

These type of detectors are mounted on the ceiling and detect a fire when they detect smoke in the room where they are placed.

•	Optical detectors are designed to be placed in zones where smoke is not likely to exist or occur, i.e. corridors, bedrooms etc.
•	They are also installed when thermovelocimeter detectors are not possible, because these are zones where smoke is very probable and where waiting time for temperature to rise for the thermovelocimeter to activate is not feasible.
