08-06-2010 > The new integration BUSing®–Pronto is here

One of the most eagerly awaited integrations for Ingenium's BUSing® protocol, the Pronto integration, is already here. This new development, created by Ingenium's R&D department, will allow BUSing® installations managing through Philips Pronto wireless control panels.

This new BUSing® application will allow all installation's devices controlling (blinds, heating system, lighting, alarms, and quite a lot of others) from any place of the house without any wires. All can be made in a very intuitive way through icons on 3D colour plans, hallmark of Ingenium's interfaces catalogue.

The configuration of the system is done in an easy way through Ingenium's development software (SIDE). Ingenium's ETHBUS device keeps the configuration, plans and icons and also works as a gateway between BUSing® bus and Pronto through the local wireless net. It is worth mentioning that the ETHBUS also allows installation managing through internet.

Another advantage of the new application is the optional KNX® installation management through the new BUSing-KNX gateway, transferring all the properties described before, as the installation controlling through 3D colour plans, to the KNX devices controlling.

This innovation shows, one more time, Ingenium's commitment to BUSing® compatibility improvement. In April Ingenium presented a Gateway between BUSing® and KNX® in the Light+Building show in Frankfurt and soon will be launched the BUSing-DALI gateway.
