The seminar was held in the Convention Center (Guardia Corps) in San Ildefonso Farm (Segovia), high qualified professionals on the field attended to the event including INGENIUM as a part of the digital home technologies, home automation. INGENIUM described its vision regarding the situation nowadays and future vision of the Digital Home, making sure to understand the real necessities of end users regarding all these services.

Traditional business and management models, which were not long ago based on Information and Communication Technologies, have been overloaded by the increasing complexity of new demands, social and production wise, making interoperable different kinds of services and applications due the the increasing technology development. This situation takes us to a technology, market or business convergence.
This is the reason why ASIMELEC and UPM have designed and programmed a seminar titled "The Convergence on Information and Communications Technologies Companies", searching for a multilateral debate between the different actors on this Macro-sector.
